FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the maximum number of guests you can accomodate?

We can accomdate up to five riders and seven overnight guests.

What is the minimum and maximum age for a rider?

Age is not as important as size, maturity & any prior experience or training.   We usually prefer beginners who are at least 10 years old.   There is no maximum age as long as the rider is physically fit enough to endure several hours in the saddle at a time.  We are not able to accommodate disabled riders.  Please call if you have any special circumstances.

Do you rent horses on an unguided basis?

Sorry.  Our horses are not permitted on the trial without our guide and instructor.

Do you rent horses by the hour?

Sorry again.  We are not set up for the occasional rider.  We like to share our love of the forest and our horses and find that an hourly trail ride is too short a period of time to do either.  We ride our horse we don't just go for rides.

Do I need reservations to ride or stay at the farm?

Yes.  Advance reservations are a must so we can insure availability and  that your stay is enjoyable, the cabin is ready, the horses are rested &  the equipment is properly prepared for your ride.

I have my own horse.  Can I bring him to your farm?

Sorry, but for a variety of reasons, we do not allow outside horses on our farm.
